Reviews and Ratings
I spent 6 nights at Fairmont Mayakoba, and it was a mixed experience. The resort is located in the stunning Mayakoba area, surrounded by nature, with activities like a boat ecotour and a fantastic kids club included. However, the food was hit or miss, with average dining options, and I faced a lot of trouble reserving beach loungers due to poor management. On top of that, two family members experienced severe digestive issues, and the service could have been more attentive during emergencies.
I had an amazing stay at Fairmont Mayakoba. The staff provided excellent service, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my visit. I particularly enjoyed the dining experience, with nice meals at La Laguna. However, I did find the food quality to fluctuate and some areas could use better cleanliness. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation that I would happily repeat.
My stay at Fairmont Mayakoba was a mix of relaxation and a few bumps. The hotel is gorgeous, with a lovely beach and friendly staff that really took care of me. However, the seaweed situation made the water a bit murky during my visit, and I wish the dinner reservations hadn’t been so late. Overall, I would definitely recommend it but with some caveats.
I had an amazing stay at Fairmont Mayakoba, filled with relaxation and fun activities, although the dining experience could be pricey. The staff were super attentive, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful, with stunning views and plenty of wildlife. However, I did run into a few hiccups with reservations and service at some restaurants, and a better process for highchair availability would have been great.
My stay at Fairmont Mayakoba was simply lovely. The private beach with its soft white sand was a true oasis and never felt overcrowded. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring that I felt welcomed and attended to at all times. The only downside was navigating the extensive grounds, which could be a tad confusing, but the beauty of the resort made up for it.
